Manage and delete your data
You are in control of your data. This page explains what Folio AI stores, how to delete it, and how to revoke the Google Slides add-on's access to your Google account. For the full details of what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.
What Folio stores
- Account data — your email address and a Folio (Supabase) user id.
- Conversations and usage — your prompts, generated results, and credit balance.
- Presentation content — processed transiently to fulfil your request and not retained as a stored document after your session.
Delete your account and data
To permanently delete your Folio account and the data associated with it:
- Email us at contact@get-folio.ai from your account email, or use the support page, with the request "Delete my account and data."
- We delete your account, conversations, and usage data within 30 days of the request, except where we must retain limited records to comply with the law.
Revoke the Google Slides add-on's access
The add-on only ever accesses the presentation you open it in and files you pick. You can remove its access to your Google account at any time:
- Uninstall the add-on from Google Workspace Marketplace (Manage apps), or from Extensions → Add-ons → Manage add-ons in Google Slides.
- Revoke Folio AI's access entirely at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Revoking access stops all future data access immediately. To also delete the data we already hold, send the deletion request above.
